Belize Mission Project 2014
I was blessed to take part in the 2014 Belize Mission Project this November with my “Evidence Of Journey” brother Dusty Workman and a team of incredible dentists, nurses and volunteers. For 22 years, the Belize Mission Project has provided free dental care to the citizens of Belize, with emphasis on fluoridating the school children. All the expenses are the responsibility of the volunteers, and each year the list of volunteers grows-as does the need for dental care in this Central American country.
Challenge Day Concert Sedro-Woolley HS March 16th
I’ve been gearing up for the Challenge Day Benefit Concert at SWHS for a few months, and it’s been a bunch of fun putting together a show for the students and community in Sedro-Woolley. The proceeds will benefit the Challenge Day program. Their mission is, “to provide youth and their communities with experiential programs that demonstrate the possibility of love and connection through the celebration of diversity, truth, and full expression.” Amen to that!!
In preparation for the concert, I made a series of YouTube videos for the community and the students to get them geared up for the show. I’m looking forward to spending the entire day at the high school; surely I’ll be recollecting memories of my school days, especially the music department and the high school musicals.
